Help Our Mom, Linda Gipson

Dear Family and Friends,
Didn’t think we’d be posting again on Mom’s gofundme page. We are now going through step three of her journey. Two months after her last surgery, a clear scan, and congrats from her surgeon on being cancer free the damn disease once again came roaring back. After being hospitalized for a blood clot, Mom started her second round of 12 chemo treatments. They are really wearing her down. Scans came back showing that lymph nodes were gone and chemo was working. Final pet scan was done and all the previous nodes were gone but a new one had appeared. No more chemo is going to be done. The tumor or node is going to be zapped with five cyberknife radiation treatments beginning May 2 at Aurora St. Lukes in Milwaukee. Mom’s diagnosis is that this cancer can not be cured, but she can try to control it. She’s so much farther along in her journey than she expected at first, and the kindness of others helped to make it possible to keep hope and positivity. Previous funding has been so helpful to defray the expenses not covered by insurance, ridiculous drug bills, etc. So we are asking once again for your help. If not financial, lots of prayers and crossed fingers are requested. Thanks in advance for your support. We’re trying to keep Mom for a couple more years if possible!
