A Little Help for Our Little Anne

Hi, my name is Samantha and we are trying to get a little help for our Mom, Anne. Monday, September 12, 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. After months of pain and searching for answers, we got one. Just not one we expected.

Anyone who knows my mom, knows how strong and proud she is. A single mother for many years, she did everything she could for my sister, Valerie and me.

In 2006 she spent 63 days straight in the hospital after a complete spinal fusion. A stay that included a halo collar and vest and a deep wound infection requiring her to take antibiotics for the rest of her life. She proudly walked out of the hospital back then a fighter and a survivor.

And, that hasn't changed.

What has changed is where she can safely and comfortably be when she is in the house. Currently, she is on the second floor, and we need to move her to the ground floor. This also means rearranging the other 2 bedrooms. Sadly, this means her downsizing much of her furniture and her bed. We need new bedding and curtains and an area rug. I'm sure there are things she's going to need down the line and I'm hoping this will cover her needs.

My mom has always been our rock. We want her focus to be on her health, and not stress about anything else.
