Friends & family.
Recently our good friend Sean Monahan passed away after several months battling an infection in the hospital. I find some comfort believing Sean is at peace and that all our paths will cross again one day in a galaxy not so far away.
Before he left, Sean gifted the world a piece of his heart and legacy, his two young daughters Estella and Cambria. The girls are being cared for by the love of Sean's life, their mother Domonique or as most of us know her, Dom. These three girls were the light of Sean's life and seeing him with them was magical.
The girls have been through so much already and I can't begin to imagine the depth of emotions this brings them.
I think it's important for us to show up in any way we can for their family right now. That help can come in many ways like dropping a meal off, taking the girls to a park or the zoo, babysitting or even just being there when the time is right.
For those of us that can't physically be there as often as we want, this platform is available to provide some support for the girls as they navigate the path ahead of them. All gifts go directly to Dom and the girls to help cover their expenses and we are grateful for your contribution to their lives in any form that takes.
We all know how important music was to Sean and in a letter he wrote before he passed away he talks about how he wants his girls to be able to be immersed in music and the arts. Some of the gifts received here will be used to put the girls in music lessons and to take art classes. If you are local please consider making some time to bring the girls to a show, gallery or to share what inspires you.
If you are reading this and struggling with anything please know that you are not alone and you are loved. Please don't let anything stand in the way of getting help if you need it.
Thank you for being a part of Sean's journey, his life, legacy and for taking the time to be here.
Please remember that loving and caring for his girls is as important in the future as it is now.
Love
