I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask for help. As a single mom, I’ve always done everything I can to provide for my child and keep us going, even when things have been difficult. Recently, I lost my job, and since then, things have become extremely hard financially. I’m doing everything I can to find another job and get back on my feet, but right now I’m struggling to keep up with our everyday expenses and provide the stability my child deserves.
School is also starting soon, which has made this situation even more stressful. My son needs school clothes and a good pair of sneakers. Right now, he only has Crocs, and as his mom, it hurts knowing I’m struggling to get him the things he needs to start the school year feeling comfortable and confident like every child deserves. Being a single mom means there isn’t another income to fall back on. Every bill, and unexpected expense falls on me. I’ve always tried to handle everything on my own, but right now I’m at a point where I truly need some help.
Asking for help is not easy for me. I never thought I would have to make a GoFundMe, but I’m doing it because my child comes first, and I want to make sure he has what he needs while I work toward getting us back on our feet. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to us. It would help with bills, school supplies, clothes, and especially a new pair of sneakers for my son as he starts the school year. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this GoFundMe would mean so much to us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for any support, kindness, prayers, or shares you can give. I’m just trying my best to get through this difficult chapter and give my son the life and stability he deserves.
