My name is Hilary Santos , new mother to beautiful 4 month old Oliver.  

We have unfortunately fallen on some hard time while I was out on maternity leave . 

Before my labor , we thought we had a pretty solid plan to keep afloat while he worked and I spent a while recovering and getting to know this sweet new soul we brought into our home . 

Unexpectedly my partner lost his job and I was unable to return to work due to my position being filled until the predetermined date. While the hunt was on we slowly fell more and more behind . My partner did everything they could to keep us afloat and not stress me out by letting me know how bad it had truly gotten. 

I was finally able to return to work and my partner thankfully found an awesome new position . But the damage had already been done . We are both in positions now where we would be able to keep up if we could simply catch up . We have applied for emergency rental assistance, but with so many in similar positions, the wait lists are too long to help us in time . We are down to the final crunch and I have no choice but to swallow my pride and ask for some assistance from my friends and family . Anything will help . I don't know how to ever thank you kind people enough but promise to pay it forward in the future .
