A Little help for Allison

Hi everyone.

This is a rough one so I'm just going to rip off the band-aid.

Some of you may know, and some of you are about to find out, that Allison's fiance, Harrison, took his life over the weekend.

I'm a friend from Jersey who flew down to help her through this and I wanted to reach out to her network to inform and collect a few things on her behalf.

Allison has gone out of her way to help me many times. A very lot of times. Too many times. So while there is no world in which she would ask for help, I am hopeful I can repay her many favors to me by reaching out to her loved ones, and those she is loved by, to come together with some bits and pieces of comfort. Please help me share this with anyone who would care to be included.

She is doing well, considering; we all know what a tank she is. But I'm certain that leaving kindnesses and loving thoughts and memories on this page will bring her moments of happiness and hope and connection when she doesn't have the strength to reach out. A little notebook she can revisit in the darker moments we are not privy to experiencing along with her.

The other major ask, and why I'm sure you surmised we're meeting here on this platform, is for some economic support. Without detailing the sensitivities of the event, there are expenses Allison alone will have to bear. Some are known, some are unknown. Some new costs will creep up as arrangements continue, and some might occur long after she imagined she would still be putting money into this horrific form of closing a chapter of her life. Let's give back to someone who would never ask for anything from us. And who deserves more than we could give. And if we go over what I estimated expenses might be she'll get a little more comfort, or perhaps a longer sabbatical, or like a solid month of organic vegetables like a full blown royal.
