She has also had a massive roll in my siblings, cousins, nieces, kids, and my life. She has always put us over anything else in her life no matter what, and we would all be lost without her. She taught me how to shoot a basketball, mow a lawn, sign language, and how to show other people the kindness I want them to show me.
She has overcome every obstacle her life has ever thrown her way too. She was told she would never be able to live on her own, but she’s had her own place since she was 25. She was told that she wouldn’t be able to hold a job, but she has been a faithful employee of Harvey Hinklemeyers in Peru for 20 years. She was told that she wouldn’t live past the age of 21 years old but she’s going on 48 years old next year, and I’d give anything to see more years to come.
Recently her health has been on the decline. She just got out of a 3 day hospital stay for AFIB and yesterday a blood clot broke loose and made its way into her brain and caused her have a massive stroke in addition to several others that came later during her hospital stay. She is currently in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne fighting for her life and I’d love nothing more than to show her how much people care about her.
If you can find it in your heart to donate to help with her hospital bills, my family and myself would be forever grateful. She would give her shirt off of her back for anyone so please show her the kindness she has shown the world for the last 47 years.
