Hello! My name is Sophie Love, and I am a student filmmaker in Lawrence, KS. I am currently working on my final senior capstone short film, A Little Familiar.

A Little Familiar is about Trevor, a cautious man, who is meeting his girlfriend Sami's friends for the first time. He soon realizes that they are a little different than he expected, maybe even abnormal. Nonetheless, he attempts to get through this absurd dinner party before something goes deathly wrong for him.

This film is a hilariously weird comedy that blends a 90s visual style with modern life and the horrors of modern dating.
