A little bit of a hand for Shane
Donation protected
Hello friends and family.
Some of you would be aware that on the 1 Dec 2016 Shane (Darren's brother and my brother in law) was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia this was a total shock to the whole family. Shane had been feeling unwell for about 5 weeks prior with just flu like symptoms no one was expecting this outcome. Shane is a loving a devoted father and husband to his 2 children and wife.
Mel travels down to HOBART every day to be with shane and support him through this tough battle, Mel then travels back home each night to be with the kids and try and keep them in some normal routine. The whole family is struggling to come to terms with this. Both shane and Mel worked prior to this but due to Shane's illness he can't work at the moment and for how long we don't know. Mel has had to take annual leave but only has a limited amount paid so I am asking if we could try and ease the pressure a little bit by donating a few dollars.
We are so far away and this is one of the few things I could think of to help them out.
Thanks so much.
Jayne.
