Hi, my name is Kiki, and I’m the oldest of three daughters. I’m creating this fundraiser for someone who means everything to me, my mom. She doesn’t know I’m doing this, but if you knew her heart the way I do, you’d understand why I couldn’t just sit back and not try.
My mom is one of those rare people who will give her last to make sure someone else is okay. She’s nurturing, selfless, and the kind of woman who has spent her entire life taking care of others, even when she had every reason to give up.
From a very young age, life placed heavy responsibilities on her shoulders. At just eight years old, she was caring for herself and her four siblings without adult supervision. That kind of childhood could have broken anyone, but not her. She carried that strength with her, eventually being taken in by family, and she never allowed her circumstances to define her future.
She grew into a woman of resilience, intelligence, and quiet determination. By 18, she had already begun her journey in nursing, taking courses in high school and continuing her education to become an LPN, then an RN, and eventually earning her Master’s in Nursing. She has dedicated her entire adult life to caring for others.
But even the strongest people carry pain.
A few years ago, my mom experienced one of the most traumatic moments of her life, when she found her father deceased in his home. As his only child, that loss deeply impacted her, and she took time away from school to heal.
Now, with so much courage, she has decided to return and continue her education in a Nurse Practitioner program. This next step means everything. Not just for her career, but for her dream of possibly opening her own practice and continuing to serve others on a greater level.
The only thing standing in her way right now is a remaining balance she needs to pay in order to continue her classes.
That’s why I’m here.
I’m asking for any support, whether it’s a donation, resources, or guidance toward scholarships, to help my mom stay on this path she has worked so hard for. Every dollar will go directly toward her tuition balance so she can remain enrolled and continue moving forward.
Even if you’re not able to give, sharing this would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read her story. Thank you for seeing her the way I do. And thank you for helping me pour back into a woman who has spent her entire life pouring into everyone else.
With love and gratitude,
Kiki
