A Life-Saving Transplant for Mom

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for your support. My beloved mother, Elsa Tobar, is fighting a battle for her life, and we are desperately seeking your help in raising funds for a life-saving liver transplant.

My mother has always been the pillar of strength in our family, a beacon of love and support for everyone around her. She has dedicated her life to caring for others, selflessly giving of herself without hesitation. But now, she finds herself in a race against time, as her liver has been ravaged by a severe illness.

The doctors have informed us that a liver transplant is her only hope for survival. However, in order for her to have a higher chance to obtain a liver, Doctors recommend that she go to Arizona, to the Mayo Clinic. She will require a 24/7 care giver and the costs for us to travel to Arizona and keep our current household will be detrimental to me and my siblings. The medical expenses, including the medications, transportation and housing and ongoing treatments, are far beyond what our family can afford alone.

This is why we have turned to this GoFundMe campaign, with a humble request for your generosity. We are seeking your support to give my mother the gift of a second chance at life, the opportunity to watch her grandchildren grow, and to continue being the loving presence we all rely on.
