A Lifesaving Journey for Julia

Julia is a 17 year old with brain cancer*….a kind, smart, and caring Junior in high school. Dearly loved by her family and friends, Julia‘s extremely rare (chordoma) cancer needs a specific type of radiation treatment out of state. While her family is working to get the treatment covered by insurance, what is not covered will be the required travel costs. Flights for her and her mom repeatedly to and from Arizona as well as 2+ months of lodging near the hospital in Scottsdale. Her family members are frugal people looking for extended stay deals but flights, rental car, lodging and mental health support activities are all expensive and beyond their means. Not to mention the medical costs that insurance will not cover.
