Help us protect the animals, the people, and the little farm that means so much to our community.
Imagine finding a place where the pressures of everyday life seem a little lighter. Somewhere you can breathe, feel welcome, make friends, learn something new, or simply enjoy a quiet moment in nature. For many, that place is Fairfield Community Farm.
Tucked away on Ruskington Fen, near Sleaford in Lincolnshire, Fairfield is a small, not-for-profit community farm with a big heart.
It's home to a wonderful collection of animals: ponies, pigs, goats, sheep and poultry. But Fairfield is about far more than caring for animals. It's about caring for people, too.
Through volunteering, animal care, gardening, wellbeing activities, and opportunities to connect with nature. It offers companionship to those feeling isolated and activities for people who need a sense of purpose.
Historically, the majority of development and running costs have been supported through the extraordinary personal commitment of its founder, Kathy, alongside the dedication of volunteers and supporters.
But the farm cannot rely indefinitely on personal generosity. Fairfield needs to build a more secure future, beginning with getting safely through this winter.
That's why Fairfield is launching our £10,000 winter lifeline appeal.
