A LIFELINE FOR KITTY ELVIS WITH THE BROKEN PELVIS

Hi, I'm Stacey from Diefers Legacy Animal Rescue and here's why we need your help....

On 13.02.25 we were contacted by a concerned member of the public regarding a cat that had been had been involved in a RTA. One of our volunteers went to seek out the kitty and get them help. When they arrived kitty had already gone, we later found out that a concerned member of the public took him straight to a local vets.

Kitty wasn't chipped and despite the vets and ourselves trying to trace an owner this has been to no avail and nobody has come forward to claim him.

The kitty is only around 1 year old so still soo young with a long life ahead of him, he is currently on pain medication and has had x-rays taken which show that he needs urgent pelvic surgery due to a nasty break.

We have been asked by the vets to help with this kitty or he will be PTS. This gave us no choice but to agree to step in.

Kitty is now named Elvis and is being kept comfortable and out of pain before he undergoes major surgery on Monday.

He will then need complete bed rest and round the clock care for the next 8 weeks.

We are using only the best surgeon for the job and have been quoted £2800
