Hello, my name is Beth Parker, and I am raising funds for my son, Clay Parker, and his loving family.
Clay is a devoted husband to Jamie and a wonderful father to his two children, Raley (10) and Callum (8). He is hardworking, creative, and has a great sense of humor. He is deeply loved by his extended family and friends. Watching him go through this devastating health crisis has been heartbreaking.
Over two months ago, Clay was stricken with a sudden and debilitating inflammatory gastrointestinal condition, diagnosed as severe Crohn’s disease. Since then, he has battled intense pain and drastic weight loss; he has been in and out of multiple hospitals, spent days in the ICU, received many blood transfusions, taken a laundry list of specialized medications, and endured numerous ambulance transports. Despite all of this, Clay continues to fight — but right now, his situation is unpredictable and the future remains uncertain.
This illness has placed a tremendous strain on his family. Clay has been unable to work this entire time, and Jamie has become the sole breadwinner. During emergencies, she has been forced to cut short or miss many days of her own employment, all while juggling Clay’s 24/7 care, acting as his healthcare advocate, and being both a mother and homeschool teacher to their kids. Their children are very worried about their dad, and the emotional and financial stress has been extremely overwhelming for them all.
Even with insurance, the bills are piling up. Out-of-pocket costs for hospital stays, treatments, in-home professional care, and medications continue to grow each day.
How You Can Help:
Donations will go directly toward Clay’s medical bills, treatments, and household expenses while he is unable to work.
Your support will help Jamie keep the family afloat during this uncertain time.
Even sharing this fundraiser with others can make a difference.
Clay is fighting for stability right now, and his family urgently needs help. Every contribution — no matter how small — is a gift of hope and relief.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Your support means the world to Clay, Jamie, their children, and to me as his mom.
With gratitude,
Beth Parker
