However, for years, Alex has been quietly battling ulcerative colitis, a chronic illness that has deeply affected his daily life. Despite trying various medications and treatments, none have provided a cure. Now, we’ve reached a point where surgery is the only option—a total colectomy—that will finally give him the chance to live pain-free and reclaim his everyday life. This news has made him realize he cannot fight this battle alone and needs the support of his community as he navigates this challenging time.

Beyond his health struggles, Alex’s passion for cars and bikes remains a driving force in his life. As a mechanic, he thrives in the garage, not only working on vehicles but sharing his expertise with others. His enthusiasm for the car community is infectious; he loves mentoring and helping anyone who looks up to him. He’s the guy everyone turns to, always with a smile on his face and a willingness to lend a hand.

This upcoming surgery is a big step, but it’s also just the beginning. Recovery will require a significant amount of time away from work, and unfortunately, Alex does not have paid medical leave. Physical restrictions after surgery will also limit his ability to work for some time, and there is a second surgery scheduled for the future. The funds we raise will not only cover medical expenses and necessary supplies but also help support Alex’s daily needs during this recovery period.
