This past Thursday was an absolute tragedy. My stepfather, Hilroy (Junior) Montique was in a horrible car accident in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. He struck a tree and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
He was the loving husband of Teresa Montique. Born to Joanlee King in Port Antonio, Jamaica. In addition to his beloved wife Teresa, Hilroy is survived by his daughter Aleesa Montique, stepson Derrick Starling, and stepdaughters Cassandra and Ariana Starling, his sister Tajaun Burke, and four brothers Omar, Merrick, Joel and Ryan Haley Montique.  In addition, Hilroy leaves behind Genie, his cherished rescue dog and faithful companion.
 
Hilroy experienced life on every continent in the world during his 11 years working in the cruise ship industry, resulting in him having friends from around the globe. He was a kind generous giving man who would do anything for anyone. He loved fishing off his boat, watching sci-fi movies, cooking and camping in New Hampshire. He worked in construction and painting and loved working on improving our home.
 
Because of this unexpected tragedy, our family was certainly not prepared in any way for this emotionally, mentally, or financially. Aleesa, his 19-year-old daughter still lives in Jamaica with Juniors Mother of his child, Tresha Annemarie Montique. Her and her family in Jamaica need an emergency visa and plane ticket to come here for the services; they haven’t seen him in over 6 years. On top of that the expenses of the funeral services are extremely unaffordable for our family. So we ask, kindly for you to donate whatever you can to help our family through this horrible time.
