My name is Stephanie, and I'm the full-time caregiver of a very special soul:

Malinka.

She is a 2-year-old cat with a complex, neurological condition that causes daily, severe muscle spasms and life-limiting symptoms. Since she was just a baby, Malinka has needed constant care, medication, physiotherapy, and—more than anything-someone who will never give up on her.

That someone is me.

I gave up my full-time career as a store manager to care for her.

I now work part-time, just enough to survive—because Malinka needs me, every few hours, around the clock. Every dose of her medication has to be timed.

Every seizure must be caught early. Every moment of peace is earned through love, planning, and sacrifice.

We've managed everything-her medical costs, her special food, her therapy

-through a separate GoFundMe for Malinka herself. But now, I have to ask for something I find even harder:

Support for me, her caregiver.

Rent, insurance, groceries-my basic costs of living are becoming harder to meet.

I didn't choose this lightly. But I chose Malinka. I chose to stay at her side, every day, no matter how tired I am, no matter how afraid.

She's still fighting. And I want to keep fighting with her.
