Affectionately known as “Dr.” Bette to many, she has spent her life helping others find healing, hope and strength. She is now ill and hospitalized. The woman who has lifted so many people up needs love, prayers and support from the community.

For decades, Bette has dedicated her life to helping others heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. She is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Christian minister and humanitarian whose work has touched countless lives through holistic health education, faith-centered guidance and compassionate care.

Bette’s personal story is one of remarkable courage and perseverance. Throughout her life she has bravely faced many battles with cancer. Rather than being defeated, she transformed her trials into a mission to help others.

In 1995, Bette fully dedicated her ministry and professional life to teaching others how to care for their bodies using biblical principles, prayer and natural health practices. She later founded Holistic Wellness Institute International, a nonprofit organization devoted to health education, research and helping individuals restore balance and wellness in their lives.

Her work has reached far beyond the community. Bette has conducted workshops throughout the United States and internationally, sharing knowledge and encouragement with people seeking healthier lifestyles and renewed hope. Her leadership and humanitarian work have been recognized with numerous honors.

Those who know Bette understand her greatest impact always comes from her heart. She has spent countless hours praying with people, encouraging those who felt discouraged, and standing beside individuals during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
