A Life Changing Instant for the Dohemann Family

On August 17th Carson was goofing around in the surf and landed a flip wrong. His brother, Trevor, pulled him from the water where he was conscious but unable to move. He broke his C5 vertebrae and sustained severe damage to his spinal cord.
His road to recovery is a long one with a yet to be determined outcome. He is currently working hard at a local rehabilitation center for spinal injuries and will be coming home in a wheelchair in 6-7 weeks.
There will be many costs during this first year of recovery and Carson has an immediate need for funds for two known projects, which are not covered by insurance:
- Modifications on the family home to allow wheelchair entry and access once inside
- A wheelchair accessible van
Carson and his family continue to feel lucky to have so much support in the immediate and extended community and are grateful for all of your help and thoughts. Your love is felt and is helping the family to heal.
