A Legacy of Love: The Chris W. Miller Family Support Fund
Donation protected
We are reaching out to the community with heavy hearts to support the family of Chris W. Miller, a remarkable man who left a permanent mark on the lives of many.
Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Chris never let his condition define him or deter his spirit. He was many things: a son (it was him and his father, Terry, against the world), husband, father, nephew, Christian and friend of many. A Louisville native, living in Crestwood, he accomplished a lot in his 41 years. Him and his family regularly attended Southeast Christian Church in Crestwood. Chris was a CPA by profession but had a love for working with his hands. So, he also began a contracting business. He dedicated his life to helping others, whether through his expertise in numbers or by lending a hand where it was needed. His wit and humor were unmatched and will never be forgotten.
His love for baseball was more than just a pastime; it was a way of life. He poured his love into the fields, meticulously grooming them, and into his daughters, coaching their softball teams with enthusiasm and pride. His wife Kari and their three little girls, 10-year-old twins, Scarlet and Keightley, and 3-year-old Savannah, were his world.
As he faced life’s toughest curveballs with grace, his final year was marked by a series of health complications that he faced with the same resilience that defined his life. Yet, even as he battled, he continued to give, never asking for anything in return. Sadly, his battle with cystic fibrosis came to an end, leaving behind his loving wife and 3 daughters too soon.
In his life, he was a pillar of strength and support for others, and now it’s our turn to give back. Due to his medical condition, he was unable to carry life insurance, and with his declining health over the last year, he was unable to work. Therefore, we are setting up this GoFundMe campaign as our collective embrace to a family in need, a gesture to show that the love he gave freely continues to ripple through the community he served.
Your generosity will ease the financial strain on his family during this incredibly difficult time. Your donation will contribute towards covering medical expenses, setting up college funds for each of the girls, and ensuring his wife and daughters receive the support they need to navigate life without their beloved husband and father.
Join us in this act of love as we honor a life well-lived, Chris’s memory, and continue his legacy of generosity. Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in the lives of his family.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
