A Legacy for Aziz Ziriat
Donation protected
We are raising funds in memory of Aziz (Uncle Azzy, Biz, Junior Brodda, The Big Smush) —our beloved brother, son, partner and friend—who tragically passed away on New Year’s Day. Aziz touched so many lives with his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering belief in community. His absence is deeply felt, but we are determined to honour his memory and always remember the light he brought into the world.
To remember Aziz in a lasting way, we are hoping to:
- Raise funds to recognise the enormous search efforts by the Alpine Rescue Service in Italy, who were so committed to finding Aziz in the Dolomites.
- Support the causes Aziz cared passionately about, championing programmes to support refugees in the South London community and promoting inclusion in football, as part of his work with the Crystal Palace Foundation, as well as developing programmes for underprivileged, young people meant the world to him - your donation will help keep that passion alive.
- Install a memorial bench, one in Bushey Park, Teddington, close to the family home, a place Aziz loved to exercise and relax and where we had our final family walk together on Christmas Day, and one in Brockwell Park, South London, which was his favourite local nature escape and social hub for many years.
We hope these will be places where all those who loved him can gather to reflect and remember him.
Thank you for helping to carry Aziz’s legacy forward, where it can continue to inspire and uplift others.
