A Leg up for Zephyr

Zephyr is the beloved dog of the Wagner family and by proxy the camp pet to Twinlow Camp. While helping her family move into their new home Zephyr got too excited and jumped from their truck. In the fall she broke her hind leg very badly. She has what is called a spyral fracture with a clean break. For a human this would be a terrible accident, for a dog it is even worse sice she doesn't understand. The options for Zephyr are both quite serious and expensive. One option is complete amputation, the other is a possible repair (we don't know if that is possible yet).
If you know the Wagners or love coming to Twinlow you know Zephyr and what she means. Yes, she can be quite the scary guard dog, but that is just her showing how much she loves her people. Spend a winter watching her bound through the snow, a summer day watching her "lifeguard" her boys, a warm spring day hiking with her family, or a crisp fall afternoon at the helm of a paddle board and you will know how important she is to all of us here.
The Wagners need the funds as soon as possible as a decision about her healthcare will be made on Monday or Tuesday this week. Please give what you can and share with friends and family.
Thank you and please pray for our Camp Pup!
