A Lasting Tribute to Edward Kelly at Franklin Lake

Story:

My name is Sean Kelly, and I’m raising funds to dedicate a memorial bench at Franklin Lake in honor of my father, Edward Kelly.

My father touched countless lives as a teacher, coach, mentor, neighbor, and friend. Whether he was inspiring students in the classroom, helping athletes push toward their dreams, guiding young people toward higher education, or standing firmly for justice and compassion, he lived each day with integrity, kindness, and purpose.

I want to honor his memory in a way that reflects his deep love for people and his lifelong commitment to community. Franklin Lake was one of those special places where he found peace, reflected on life, and connected with others. Placing a memorial bench here will give friends, family, and future generations a quiet spot to sit, remember, and be inspired by his legacy.

The dedicated bench will feature two lines of text in his honor, offering a permanent reminder of the man who believed in giving his all to every person he met.

My Goal:

The cost to dedicate this bench at Franklin Lake is $1,510. If donations exceed that amount, I will use the extra funds to create a small scholarship in his name for students at Shore Regional High School—continuing his tradition of supporting young people in reaching their goals.
