A Last Goodbye to Beloved Barbara

The end of an era, the dwindling of a bright and beautiful star, April 11th, 2025. Barbara passed away at 1:31 a.m. After knowing this woman for over 30 years and loving her for every minute of it, I gave her my last kiss goodbye at 3:20 a.m. on April 11th. She was cold and colorless, but she was still my wife, and I loved her more than life itself. She will always hold a place in my heart no matter what my future brings. It is hard for me to imagine a life without her in it. We had so many wonderful memories together, she and I. As I looked upon her for the last time, I felt anguish and pain and grief and anger, anger because she left me alone in a life without her. However, I understand she was in pain and she had no real life the way she was living. Her only happiness was eating, watching TV, and spending time with me. Now it's for God to watch over her and keep her in a beautiful place. She will be missed.

God rest your soul, Barbara Ann Mounce. May He watch over you and keep you under His wing in a beautiful and wonderful place so that you may be at peace and rest comfortably now.

The funds raised by this GoFundMe account will provide financial resources to pay the funeral home and transportation costs across the country to our final resting place. Anything and everything will help with this endeavor. Final services will be held in Portland, Oregon, on the 9th of June. God bless all of those of you that help with helping lay Barbara to rest.
