A laptop for a CS student in Ghana

Oliver needs a new laptop. You can help. Here's an excerpt of what Oliver sent me:

Hello Sir

I am Oliver Mensah from Ghana, a college student pursuing Computer Science at Ashesi University, Ghana.

I just got into programming when I started my undergraduate studies in 2014.
Since I did not know that something like programming exists. So far, it has been fun and helpful but I have a little challenge but I have no one to help me concerning computer I use for practices and school work.

I have emailed a couple of people [...] but all to no avail.

I am in this school on scholarship and was given laptop as a package but unfortunately, it was stolen in school.

By then I had saved about $120, which I used to buy a used laptop in order to cope in school but recently this old laptop I bought has been giving me many problems and does not make me productive as a Computer Science student.

My mother could have helped me but she too is not is not having money to help and the banks too which could have lent us money charge a lot of rates that could take us years to pay.

I should not have worried you about this but I know my studies and practices will be appalling if I don't get your help to get a better laptop. Even if, you have a laptop which is old and you are not using, you can help me with it.

I have been taking your course, Introduction to How to write an Open Source JavaScript Library on egghead. Please kindly help me out, I am really desperate to succeed and help others in this field
