Hi everyone. My name is Tra-mi, and I'm raising money for my cousin Hoa. Hoa is 24 years old and lives in Hue, Vietnam. His dad passed away when he was five, and his mom left him and his three siblings shortly after their father's death. Our grandparents, who are in their 80s, have raised my four cousins their whole lives.
Over a year ago, the doctor diagnosed Hoa with Chronic Kidney Disease. Because of a lack of financial resources and health education in Vietnam, he did not go see a doctor until he experienced intense symptoms and unbearable pain. This caused the disease to accelerate rapidly and both of his kidneys have shut down.
Today, he is a permanent patient at the local hospital in Hue, Vietnam, to receive dialysis treatment for kidney failure. He desperately needs a kidney transplant to survive. His sister and mom have volunteered to give Hoa a kidney if they are a match - we are waiting for the results to see if this is an option.
Our family in Vietnam cannot afford to even keep him at the hospital, let alone pay for a kidney transplant. I hope to make this surgery possible for my cousin by seeking help through this GoFundMe page.
2020 has been a rollercoaster of events worldwide, and I know everyone is dealing with their own battles. This one is close to my heart.

- Biết tin bé Duyên em gái Hòa đã nhanh chóng đi xét nghiệm và đồng ý lấy 1 quả thận của mình để ghép cho anh Trai.
- Cho 1 quả thận đồng nghĩa tuổi thọ của em sẽ giảm đi rất nhiều. Bé biết vậy nhưng vẫn muốn tặng thận để cứu sống anh trai.
