In 2019 I was diagnosed with kidney disease, which took a turn for THE worse this past year (2021).
Now I am in need of a kidney transplant, which has been extremely challenging. I was recently added to the transplant list, and this new journey in my illness has added many medical expenses that I have to pay out pocket, including my expensive health insurance and transplant surgery costs.
Because I am an undocumented patient I must have this insurance in order to receive treatment, which includes a kidney transplant and all the care that comes after receiving a kidney.
I greatly appreciate all your support. Simply stated, a new kidney will mean that I will have more time to live and to live with health. I will have more time to be a mother to my two beautiful daughters, a partner to my immensely supportive husband, and an active member of my beloved Greensboro community.

En el 2019 fui diagnosticada con enfermedad renal, la cual empeoró este pasado 2021. Ahora necesito un transplante de riñón, lo cual ha sido muy desafiante
Recientemente me pusieron en la lista de espera para transplante UNO, y este nuevo camino en mi enfermedad ha aumentado muchos gastos médicos que tengo que pagar, incluyendo el carísimo seguro médico.
Como paciente indocumentada necesito el seguro médico para ser atendida y recibir el transplante en conjunto con todos los cuidados que necesitaré de por vida.
Aprecio enormemente cualquier ayuda en esta pelea por un ratito más de vida para estar con mis dos hijas hermosas, mi esposo y seguir siendo un miembro activo de mi comunidad me De Greensboro.
