A Kidney Connection for Kathy

Hello friends!!

As many of you know our amazing friend Kathy Parravano Calcagno had a heart transplant over 10 years ago, and last year had surgery to repair a leaking valve in her heart.  Recently, she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney failure due to her anti-rejection medications that were necessary to keep her healthy. By the Grace of God, her husband Russ has been tested and is a perfect match for Kathy and if all goes well, he will be giving her a kidney in the very near future. As you can imagine the medical bills over the years have been astronomical. We are setting up this Go Fund Me account to help them with their medical costs and also Russ will be unable to work for at least 4 weeks after the transplant. For those of you that know Kathy, you are aware of her love for life and how she lives every moment to the fullest!! Russ is a wonderfully supportive husband and will now be her lifesaver!
