First, I want to pause and say thank you.
To everyone who has already donated, shared, encouraged, or even prayed over this mission—I truly appreciate you. Your support reminds me that this work is bigger than me. It’s about community, legacy, and preparing our children for a future we may not always be here to see.
Through my nonprofit organization, my heart has always been to help children understand money early—not just how to spend it, but how to save it, manage it, give with purpose, and invest wisely. These are lessons many of us learned late in life, often through hardship. I believe our kids deserve better.
My journey into financial literacy didn’t begin in a classroom. It began with life—working, struggling, learning, failing, praying, and growing. Over time, that journey turned into conversations with my children and grandchildren, then into stories, and eventually into books designed to meet kids where they are—simple, relatable, and hopeful.
That’s how the Smart book series was born.
As we approach Financial Literacy Month in April, this mission becomes even more urgent. Schools, parents, and communities are looking for meaningful ways to introduce financial education—and this is an opportunity to make a real impact. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:
Providing financial literacy books and materials for children
Supporting school and community-based literacy sessions
Creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that spark confidence and curiosity
This is not about pushing products.
This is about changing mindsets early.
This is about helping kids see money as a tool—not a trap.
To those who have already given: thank you for believing.
To those considering donating: thank you for joining the mission.
Together, we can plant seeds today that grow into confident, financially aware adults tomorrow.
With gratitude,
Aaron Vaughn
