Support “A Journey to Submission” - A Dance Short Film

Hi everyone,

My name is Yurca, and I’ve been dancing my whole life and since I found God he’s been helping to get clarity on my true purpose with dance: to glorify God and spread His Word through the power of movement. I’m excited to announce my latest project, born from a dance performance, a short dance film called “A Journey to Submission.” This God-given idea has been placed on my heart to create a meaningful piece that will touch lives and bring many souls closer to Christ.

A Journey to Submission is an artistic expression of the spiritual loop that many of us experience before fully submitting our lives to God. The performance will take viewers through a relatable story that explores the struggle of trying to go our own way, facing challenges, learning to trust in God’s plan, opening our spiritual eyes, and finally surrendering to His will. Each stage of this journey is inspired by Scripture:

1. The Journey – Isaiah 58:11: “I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—firm muscles, strong bones.”

2. Distance – Proverbs 14:12: “There’s a way that appears to be right, but in the end, it leads to death.”

3. Trust – Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.”

4. Spiritual Blindness – 2 Corinthians 3:16: “But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”

5. Submission – Job 22:21: “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.”

I believe that through this film, God will move in powerful ways to open hearts and lead people to experience His love. However, I can’t do this alone. This project will require a professional production team, rehearsal space, travel expenses, 15-20 dancers, locations, costumes, and other resources to bring the vision to life. My goal is to raise 10,000 to cover these costs, and I’m reaching out to you for support.
