A journey to see my beautiful mother grandmother

Hey everyone my name is Ngahuia Taiawa and I live in Bunbury Western Australia with my partner and our 2 beautiful daughters. Anyone that knows me knows I'm the kind of person who would go above and beyond to help anyone and everyone around me but when it comes to asking for help or support I struggle beyond words to ask for help when i need it and accept it when its offered and I believe I am not the only one who struggles with this so you can imagine how hard this is for me.

I am organising this fund raiser for myself and my 2 daughters as we are desperate to get to darwin to visit my beautiful mother Donna Taiawa . My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2021 and given 3 weeks to live. Thanks to her oncologist the chemotherapy/radiation her strength determination and will power to continue living the love and support from family friends and people in the community and the grace of God she is still with us today. 3 years later

Last week she was admitted to darwin hospital as the pain and weightloss became unbearable . This week we have been informed that they can no longer continue the treatment. Unfortunately her cancer count is rising and the cancer is spreading through her body. She is weighing in below 40kgs. The only thing she has now is pain relief to help her day to day.

We are wanting to get to darwin as soon as possible so we can spend as much time as possible with my mother. My daughters are missing their grandmother and want nothing more then to spend any time with her and to be in her arms to embrace her love and hugs again.

We will be forever grateful for any amount donated to us to help with our journey to darwin and are thankful for everyone's support.

The money raised will go towards flights to darwin and back for myself my daughter Amelia and violet

Remaining money will go towards repairs on mums car and any medical bills she may need help with

ill be used on return flights to darwin and the remaining money will go towards helping mum fix her car as it is currently broken down.
