A Journey of Hope: Supporting Our Miracle Baby's Fight for Life

I write to you today with a heavy heart yet a spirit full of hope for my dear brother Jared and his wonderful wife, Kayeli. Their journey over the past four years has been nothing short of extraordinary—a tale woven with the struggles of infertility, the joy of finally conceiving, and the challenges they now face as they fight to bring their little miracle into the world.

After many long years of heartache, treatments, and perseverance, they finally received the news they had long been waiting for: they were expecting a baby! Their joy was overwhelming, and they began dreaming of all the moments they would share as a family. However, the excitement turned to fear when, at 20 weeks, Kayeli went into preterm labor.

In a race against time, they were transferred to the University of Utah for a cervical cerclage procedure, hoping it would provide the necessary support to carry their baby to term. Unfortunately, the procedure did not succeed, resulting in premature rupture of membranes, turning their world upside down once again.

Yet, against all odds, their little fighter held on. Miraculously, Kayeli did not go into labor immediately. She is now almost 25 weeks along, stable in the hospital, where she will remain for the entirety of this high-risk pregnancy, under the careful watch of a dedicated medical team.

As they cling to hope for their baby's survival, they face the reality that if their little one makes it, he will likely have a long journey in the NICU. The mounting medical expenses, hospital stays, and specialized care are overwhelming, and they have found themselves in a position of needing support.
