Hi! We’re Federica and Ottavio, two long-time friends and flatmates who’ve been living in Copenhagen for the past four years. This summer, we’re taking on a very personal and meaningful challenge:

We’re cycling from Copenhagen to Milan, our hometown, to return home in a slower, more conscious way.

Why We’re Doing This

Instead of flying back, we’ve decided to pedal our way home, crossing Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Italy – more than 1,500 km on two wheels.

This trip is about:

Saying goodbye to a place that shaped us

Choosing a more sustainable and human pace

Proving to ourselves that we can do something bold and challenging

Documenting the journey to inspire others to travel differently

What We’re Raising Funds For

We’re asking for your support to help cover the essential costs of this self-funded trip, including:

Bike equipment (panniers, tools, helmets, lights, repair kits)

Affordable accommodation (hostels or campsites)

Basic meals and snacks along the route

A small emergency budget in case something goes wrong

With this amount, we’ll be able to keep the trip safe, functional, and accessible. Any extra funds will go toward creating a mini-documentary of our trip or donated to an environmental cause supporting sustainable mobility.
