help graduate the Putney School (intl. student)

Hey everyone,

My name is Dimi Minkov. I am an international student from Bulgaria that is currently a junior at the Putney School in Vermont. I came here last year when I won a full scholarship from an exchange program to attend the school. I am hoping that it's going to help me with my dream to pursue higher education in the field of dance and performing arts in the United States. Unfortunately, the program I came with is only for one year and now I am trying my best to figure out how to make my stay for my senior year possible.

The school has been very generous in providing me with almost full financial aid for next year. The remaining cost to attend the school is something that my family will cover. However, there are other expenses like health insurance, flight tickets and personal expenses that, combined with the remaining tuition, become a number that's beyond my family's means. And this is why I need your help.

I am an aspiring dancer, musician, and performer who is very determined. Recently I got accepted into a summer dance academy in Long Island - Earl Mosely Institute of the Arts - which is also an expense that I cannot cover fully on my own. Besides dance and performance, I am also particularly interested in chemistry and science. I am a NASA-certified Space Camp graduate and I am just as invested in the STEM field as the performance field. Parallel to my Putney education, this whole year I took advanced chemistry classes to prepare in case I decide to do a double major combining my passion for performance and science. I am very determined to make all of this work but I don't think I would be able to afford it by myself and my parents can't do much about it. I am an international student so I am not able to work off-campus and that creates another difficulty. I am open to any and all help. My education and my artistry have always been some of the most important things in my life and I am hoping that I could make this work.

Hereby, I attach one of my recent dance works from school which I choreographed, designed, produced and staged. I also attach one of my favorite piano performances from a few years ago. I hope that my dancing and music tell you a little bit about my potential and who I am as an artist and a person (I am the soloist in the dance video).
