Hello and welcome to our story. My wife and I have been together for seven years now, and married for three. We have been trying to conceive for the past year and a half. As many know, IUI/IVF is not an easy process for any couple, let alone two married women.
We are super family oriented, and it fills our hearts to see our nieces and nephews quite often. Our careers also give us the privilege to work closely with children, which makes the hope for a little one of our own grow stronger each day.
Due to my age and marital status, I had try IUI for 12 consecutive months before being considered for IVF. This has been financially challenging because at $2000 per vial for 12 months equates to $24,000. That is around the same price range for IVF, which is known to have a higher success rate than IUI.
Being able to access reproductive health should be a priority in the medical system as a whole. It should not have to feel like an unattainable dream.
For the past two years, we have been saving all our pennies and dimes. We are currently $5000 away from being one step closer to starting the IVF journey. We hope this message comes across
We appreciate donations of any amount, as every dollar counts. We are extremely hopeful that our dreams of becoming parents is within the near future. Thank you for listening to our story!
With love,
A & Ily
