Help a hurting family get back on their feet.

I'll start with March 6th, 2019. It was about 2 am when my cell phone rang and I was told our precious son Tyler (age 40 at the time) had been in a car accident and to get to the hospital right away. We were able to be by his side when the doctor pronounced him dead at 6:02 am. As one can imagine, that day changed our lives forever. I left Salem Media after 10 years of fruitful ministry and we moved from CA to KY to be near our daughter and grandsons. I didn't realize it at the time, but six years later I see that I have been clinically depressed over his passing this entire time. I foolishly stopped working, and we lived off savings. This was a mistake. It has directly added to our challenges, but because I wasn't dealing with my depression, many parts of life were falling apart. We are meeting with a professional counselor and receiving wise counsel. All this has taken a toll on our health as well. I've been in the hospital several times in the past few years. Patti has been sick often. On a positive note, I started writing and publishing Bible tracts, which allowed me to focus my energies on others instead of my depression. (I will mail a bunch to anyone that asks!) Though we were struggling financially, I was seeing great spiritual results. Patti and I share our faith more then ever. I have distributed over 50,000 Bible tracts to date, all over the country with brothers and sisters that are using them in daily evangelism. So friends, we find ourselves in a major financial dilemma in the midst of God still using us for His honor and glory. It's humbling to have to face the fact that I have been a bad steward. I have procrastinated for too long. Now we are in a crisis with our creditors. I know of no other way to get the help we need at this critical moment. I recently passed my state exam for my Life & Health Insurance license, and this will help greatly down the road, but the need is great right now. I should also mention that our daughter and grandsons have needed our financial help along the way which has added to the challenges we now face. So I'm asking you to prayerfully consider a gift of any amount at this time. And we especially ask for prayer. We have felt the endless spiritual attacks along the way. Yet we see that trials are opportunities for spiritual growth, and to bring us closer to God. I believe He is leading us to a richer relationship with Him. And let me add that on April 29th we will celebrate 48 years of marriage! Satan has tried hard to destroy our love for each other . . . and he has failed. To God be the glory. Amen!
