Pakistan is experiencing catastrophic floods & here is why you should support:
- Over 1,000 people and hundreds of animals are dead
- More than 2 million people have been displaced.
- Poor People in Pakistan do not have any type of home or property insurance
- Pakistan has the most number of glaciers in the world and it is impacted by climate change like no other country.
- Govt is incapable/inefficient to support at this scale
STEP is a US nonprofit that has been working in Pakistan since 2012. We maintain 100% transparency & robust reporting. STEP is raising funds to save lives of hundreds and thousands of flood-affected families.
We helped more than 500 families in 2022 floods with more than 5 million.
How we will use funds?
- In the first phase, we will provide immediate relief through food, medicines, tents, boats, animal feed.
- In the second phase, we plan to work on rehabilitation by providing safe shelter, sources of livelihood, animals, tools etc.
