Aloha from California, my name is Nay Smith! On February 20th, I received a call from my siblings letting me know our father, Arenzo Smith, had passed away. His passing was both a shock to our family and to the community on the Hilo side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Arenzo was known as a beautiful friend, a gentle giant, and an amazing artist in many communities across the island. As he spent the last 30+ years on the island, he shared his joy of nature, food, health, wellness, and art of all mediums through his contagious smiles, chuckles, and genuine conversations.

This GoFundMe has been created to help his 3 children from the mainland, facilitate his remains, and manage his estate. Bring peaceful closure in his physical form. Lastly, to celebrate him with his Big Island community and reflect on the miles he traveled, people he met, and experiences he shared.
