Our family in Bastrop is currently facing a difficult situation, and we are humbly seeking assistance.

The roof of our home recently collapsed into the ceiling of our master bedroom. These issues arose following the recent hail storm in May. What began as a small leak after the storm and subsequent heavy rains quickly worsened, and has now created an emergency for our family.

These recent months have been a nonstop series of hits for us, from unexpected car breakdowns and bursting pipes to the costly removal of giant dead trees and mounting dental bills. We promptly contacted our insurance company, but unfortunately, our claim was denied. This denial of coverage has placed us in an impossible situation, with increasing damage, mold issues, and the potential for homelessness.

It's truly difficult to ask for help, but it's something we must do now. We understand that many people are facing their own hardships, and it feels particularly uncomfortable to ask for assistance when others are also struggling. However, repairing our roof is simply beyond our financial means, and our home is deteriorating daily.

How You Can Help Our Family

We've received an estimate of approximately $14,000 for a complete roof replacement. This amount will cover the cost of materials, labor, and the proper installation of a new roof.
