A House for Sutheesh and Sheeba
Hi, hope you are doing well!
I am reaching out because Sutheesh and Sheeba have been trying to find a house so they can move back to Philadelphia for over a year now. It’s been their dream and desire to move back to Philly due to the better quality of life and independence it would afford them. Some of the benefits they look forward to include: availability of public transportation, variety of supermarkets, access to better healthcare services and programs, opportunity to participate in the local Indian community, and closer proximity to Debbie and Richie.
Miraculously, several months back they came in contact with a buyer and were able to sell their home in Plymouth without it even being on the market. The sale of their current home has a closing date of October 26, 2021. At the same time, they had been looking at various houses in Philadelphia and had an offer accepted on a home that just so happens to be in the same area as they lived in previously, with a settlement date of November 22, 2021. This house and its location which would provide Sutheesh and Sheeba with convenient access to exactly the things they hoped for – public transportation, supermarkets, healthcare services, etc.
Unfortunately, the costs involved appear to be a bit of stretch at the moment based on their current financial circumstances and so Sutheesh and Sheeba would hugely benefit from any help you can offer to secure their future dream home. Due to their inability to work, their monthly income is very limited and they would need a relatively low mortgage payment in order to live within their means. As of now, they put in an offer for a home with a monthly mortgage payment of $1200. While this house otherwise meets all their basic requirements, this amount is essentially their entire monthly income. Therefore, in trying to determine an amount that would be feasible for them pay, we are currently hoping to raise a total of $30,000 which would bring down their monthly mortgage payment to $800.
We recognize that this is a huge amount of money to raise in a relatively short amount of time, but we believe that if we all do what we can, we can help Sutheesh and Sheeba make their dream home a reality. Fully understanding that this past year or so has been a challenge for many, we kindly ask that you consider giving to this cause, but there is of course no obligation or expectation that anyone give, especially if their financial circumstances do not allow for it at this time. Any amount of assistance would be greatly appreciated and instrumental in helping to reach this ambitious goal. We ask that if you choose to give, that you use the GoFundMe that we’ve setup to manage and simplify the process. Additionally, GoFundMe allows those who give to do so anonymously (meaning even those of us who set up the GoFundMe would not know who did or did not give anonymously).
