A House for Jane and Her Children

Donation protected
Jane is a single mother of 5 in Uganda. She is the sole income winner to keep these 5 beautiful children healthy, as healthy as she can. As of two years ago she was begging to sustain herself and her children. She is an industrious woman, and now has been farming to feed her family and make a small profit. They all live in the mud hut behind them in the photo.  The walls are porous and the roof leaks when it rains. Becasue of the leak they must stand during rains, even during the night, otherwise water, mud and debris will flow on and over them in their beds, which are located on the mud floor. Her children are Kaggwa, Kato, Wassa, Jonah and Kigongo. Kigongo contracted polio when he was younger and his spine is bent in a debilitating manner, so he must lay in the dirt all day, with not much more than a blanket or thin mattress to keep him off the ground.  Our family has been supporting Jane and her children for the last two years with food, clothing and school fees as we were introduced to her by our friend Nagumera Isaac of Save the Generation Foundation in Masaka, Uganda. We have exchanged pictures and messages through the blessing of our mutual friend Isaac. Even though her lot is hard pressed, Jane is blessed and watched over by God, her Father. Her children are clothed, fed and are attending school, when funded. She has also saved for a plot of land to build a house. We would love nothing more than to buy Jane a house for her and her lovely family. I have a local connection in Uganda and he shows all of the receipts with pictures of the work or goods provided. He said an estimate of $1715 USD would be enough to give her a rudimentary house with multiple rooms and a cement slab (The total $1850 is to acount for money transfers or the percentage GoFundMe takes out, this is 100% not-for-profit for myself or my family) . I am in personal contact with Isaac from Save the Generation Foundation, and I wire him the money via MoneyGram. He in turn, provides a receipt of all of the expenses and pictures of the progress made during each step of the process. He is reliable and faithful in his duties, of which I have used for the last two years.  My family and I are regenerate Christian believers, and I will post all pictures, progress and receipts as this project is completely above board. There is no deadline for this project, however the sooner we can get a home for Jane and her children, the better. As Christians we believe taking care of others less fortunate is our calling in Christ, in other words, to love others as we would love ourselves. Thank you for your generosity and God will receive glory for this project.
