Hi, my name is Roshay, and I’m a single mom living in a shelter with my child. Every day, I do everything I can to give my baby a sense of love, peace, and normalcy in a situation that’s anything but easy.

I’m grateful to have a roof over our heads, but we’re still struggling to meet basic needs—like baby wipes, pull-ups, and essentials for my baby. I’m working hard to rebuild our lives, and my biggest goal is to save enough to furnish a future apartment and create a stable, comfortable space where my child can feel safe and at home.

Right now, we don’t even have enough blankets or pillows in the shelter. I’m trying to raise funds not just to survive this season, but to prepare for a better one. Some generous people recently helped with a few supplies, and I’m incredibly thankful—but we’re still in need.
