Hi, my name is Jeanie and I am trying to help get a young mother and her three children 9 months, 1 and 2 off the streets. They were living in conditions in a rat infested home where they had chickens, rabbits and snakes in the house and her 1 year old was getting bid all over by the fleas. The 9 month old had been sleeping in her car seat or swing since she was born because there was no where for her to sleep. The children slept on an old mattress on the floor. The one year old can't walk because he never had any room to walk in the place they stayed it was so covered with feces and some of the most nasty circumstances I have seen. (I saw the video of the place she took when she went back to get her things). She moved out and I found her in her car with her 3 children. They have no place to go. I have reached out to several places and they are full and have no room. I have been housing the children, and providing for them along with the help of some friends but resources from me and others is getting stretched to the max. She is seeking employment and I am helping her along with state funded child care but they are telling her she needs a job before 4C can come into effect. This is a critical situation where her and these children do not need to be another victim in the streets and the shelters seem to be full. They are overcrowded. We have made a lot of phone calls and knocked on a lot of doors. Please if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to put her up in a hotel for at least a month until she can find a job and get on her feet. I have purchased her a double stroller, a play pen and other things along with the help of a few other people to help her get on her feet.
