A Homeless Girl, a Hopeless Father: Save Them in Gaza

My name is Sadia Tennah, and I am organizing this fundraiser to help a family facing unimaginable hardship. This fundraiser is dedicated to my friend Sakher Lolo and his little girl Lolo Ola.

Because of the war in Gaza, this family has lost everything: their home, their jobs, their future. Today, they are living in a tent, enduring extremely difficult conditions, exposed to the freezing winter cold. Sakher , the father, no longer knows where to turn for help. He fights every day to protect his daughter, but the suffering is unbearable.

Ola, this innocent little girl, has spent over a year in this tent. She doesn’t even know what a fridge is, nor does she understand what it means to live in normal conditions. Their daily life is a fight for survival, without even the basic essentials like a shower, toilet, or warm clothing.

Today, I am asking for your help to allow this family to rebuild what was destroyed by the war. Help them rebuild their home, offer them a safe roof, and give Loulou the childhood she deserves, away from the trauma of war and unbearable living conditions.

Clarifications on the Fundraising Process:

I would like to provide some clarifications regarding the management and distribution of the funds raised for my friend Sakher and Ola’s family.

Sakher, the father of Ola, does not have a bank account or a phone, making it impossible to transfer funds directly to him. Additionally, opening a new bank account in Gaza is extremely difficult due to the current circumstances, as banks require extensive documentation, which Sakher lost when his home was bombed during the war. Therefore, we have arranged for their neighbor and trusted family friend, Ahmad Jamal Shamekh Nassar, to receive the funds on their behalf..

The funds will first be transferred from my account to Ahmad Nassar’s account, who is a client at the Bank of Palestine. Ahmad will then deliver the money directly to the family in cash. This arrangement has been discussed with and fully approved by Ola’s family, who are fully aware and in agreement.
