Hi I'm Wendy. I'm raising day to day living funds for a young man named D. I met D 2 years ago when he offered his yardwork services in our neighborhood Facebook group. He was 17, had a 6 month old son, and had left his family to move with her family to Sacramento from southern CA. He had no education and had trouble finding and keeping a full-time job with no child care. He was desperate for cash for diapers. Fast forward 2 years and I have been helping D and his family each time they get into a tight spot -which with no support net, is a lot. He has been unable to get enough stable work to pay rent and has been evicted. He told me this week he is sleeping in a park. This is a good, kind, well-intentioned kid with just limited life skills. He just need a break and some help to get just a tiny bit ahead. I'd appreciate anything you have to offer.
