My name is Ashley Strange and I’m currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work from Catholic University. I'm a 29-year-old Black woman with a vision of creating a better future for myself and generations to come. I'm excited to share my journey with you as I take a significant step towards homeownership.

It is also my goal to give back to the community I came from and foster children. This home, a 2 bedroom townhome, will allow me to do that.

I have been diligently working towards this goal, and I am proud to share that I've been approved for the Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP), which will provide me with the much-needed down payment to buy a home. However, there are still some financial hurdles I need to overcome, namely the earnest money deposit and closing costs.
