My name is Ursula Still, a woman who has walked faithfully with God through a 29‑year marriage, 26 of those years spent as a full‑time mother, homemaker, and nurturer. I poured my life into raising our four children—now 26, 24, and 18‑year‑old twins— managing and building a home that was meant to be a place of stability, love, and legacy.

When my marriage ended in April 2025, I found myself standing at a crossroads I never imagined yet my faith never wavered. My praise did and will not change. The court awarded me the marital home so I and our children could continue to have a safe and stable place to live. I was grateful—yet the responsibility was enormous. I had not been in the workforce for decades, and rebuilding my financial foundation has been a journey of faith, humility, and perseverance.

By God’s Grace, I secured employment in May 2025.

By God’s Grace, the deed was quick claimed into my name only.

By God’s Grace, I paid off the mortgage in September 2025 using my court ordered portion of his 401k, right at $31K.

Yet one final mountain remains.

As part of the divorce settlement, I must buy out my ex‑husband’s portion of the home—an amount under $56,000, documented and notarized. With only a short work history, I do not qualify for refinancing or traditional lending. I have tried every program available, including NACA, but the door has remained closed.

And yet, God keeps whispering the same scripture to my spirit:

“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.” — Proverbs 22:7 He ends this scripture by adding “Don’t go back into debt.”

I believe it is clear that God is telling me not to go back into debt. Not to bind myself to another lender. Not to place myself or my children under financial bondage again.

Instead, God is calling me to trust Him—and to trust the hearts of those who understand mustard‑seed faith, sowing and reaping, and the power of community.

My ex‑husband is eager to receive his portion, and I want to honor that agreement swiftly and peacefully. I want closure for both of us. I want our children to remain in the only and stable home they have known. I want to prevent any future burden from falling on our children should anything happen to him.

My first priority is securing the buyout so that this chapter can close with dignity and peace.

I am believing God for the full amount in His Timing so I can complete the buyout.

I BELIEVE God will multiply whatever is given. I BELIEVE God will touch the hearts of those meant to be part of this testimony. I BELIEVE this home will continue to be a place of peace, restoration, and generational blessing.
