I'm raising money for friend Tyrone Mcgee. A series of events that befell him early this year, has made life very difficult for him. In March 2020 Tyrone had a plumbing stoppage which caused flooding in his home. At the same time, Tyrone, like all of us, was forced to stay indoors due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus. The damage to his home was bad -- destroying his bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen floor, with extensive water damage to the floors, walls, and his kitchen sink which all had to be removed. The smell of sewage was bad and he tried working with his home insurance and home warranty to get the problem taken care of right away. The home insurance paid for the drying of the floors and walls, but he had to pay thousands of dollars in plumbing repairs that were not covered.

Fidelity Home warranty was of no help whatsoever. Pacific Specialty Home insurance paid for his family to stay in an AirBnB while the house was dried out due to the flooding. They paid for the drying of the floors and walls, but once everything was removed they only agreed to pay less than 1/4 of the required cost from what several contractors had quoted him. After fighting for months, and being forced to spend a lot of money on fast food and unhealthy microwave food, because he had no kitchen to cook in, he finally gave up with the insurance. The last word from the insurance agent was "We aren't going to pay to fix your house."

I met Tyrone at a bible study a few months ago, right in the middle of the pandemic and all the chaos he was struggling through. Tyrone is a great guy, who has a great attitude, and cares for others. He is an artist, whose work was put on hold due to the pandemic, like so many others, making things very difficult for him. On top of all of this, Tyrone suffered the loss of his mother who had been suffering for the last few months. Despite all the trouble and grief this has caused him, he has been able to get enough money to pay thousands of dollars to repair his kitchen.
He is however left with about $16,000 in repairs for a room and bathroom with no floor or walls.

We are trying to raise $16K to cover the cost of repairs for his bathroom and bedroom. This is a terrible condition to live in during the pandemic. Please help if you can.
Thank you so much and may God bless you for your kindness.
