A home for Scribbly

Mr Scribbly came to me a couple of weeks ago, He had been found in a neighbourhood in Cooranbong unable to use his back legs. He had been like that for over a week.

No one wanted to touch him as he was hissing. I didn’t think it was a tick - surely the cat couldn’t survive a whole week with no help? I thought it was a hit by car possibly and knew it needed to be seen by a vet, and euthanised if in terrible pain.

It turned out to be tick paralysis. He wasn’t microchipped and given how scared he was, he wasn’t used to humans. He was treated and recovered well and then was desexed.

As Scribbly is scared and unsocial he needs time to get used to humans. Unfortunately I’m full with dealing with a colony and 11 cats at home. I have nowhere to put him inside my house so he is in a two tier Vebo pet crate on my patio.

He will need time to come around (it can take up to a year) but he also needs more room so I would like to raise funds for a cat enclosure - like the Somerzby Heidi Cat House. https://www.somerzby.com.au/products/cat-house
